Isopropyl wipes for preparation of surfaces prior to applying adhesives or paint

Contain 70% isopropyl alcohol solvent which evaporates quickly leaving no residue. This makes them the perfect cleaner for surfaces such as aluminium, glass, stainless steel, monitor screens, door handles and similar.

Carefully wipe the contact faces of the Sub-frame profiles and the rear of printed aluminium panels before applying bonding tape. Also for surfaces where self-adhesive hanging plates are being fixed. Leave surface for 7-10 minutes to become fully dry.

Use-by dates for wipes: Wipes in the dispenser tub, 9838 and in sachets, 9837 have use-by dates marked on them. It is often between 12 and 18 months from date of manufacture. This is because they are mainly used in healthcare. In our typical applications, the only risk is them drying out, which will be obvious to the user.

Working with adhesive materials in a colder environment? When the temperature drops remember to let self-adhesive tapes, PVA glues, boards and mounting films come up to room temperature before using them. Keep them that way for a few hours after application while the adhesives cure.

Home Tip: If you use these wipes to thoroughly clean the area where you might be putting silicone around a bath or sink, they minimise the likelihood of mould later.
