Conservation quality optically clear polyester film on the roll

Semi-stiff, 75µ. Cut with a mount cutter, scissors or a sharp knife. Archival quality with many uses in quality framing and preservation.

This Polyester Roll is the equivelent of Melinex® 401. It is a conservation grade optically clear film with good handling qualities. The film is treated to give a slippery surface on one side and is well suited to applications where very high transparency is important

Typical use of this acid-free film is to wrap a print with mount and backing board. The high gloss, optically clear film gives the image great eye appeal.

Another use is to cut it into strips to work as near-invisible straps to hold 3D objects into shadow box frames.

Yet another is to make it into custom-size envelopes to store and protect documents and photos.
