1588 Lineco Frame Sealing Tape Archival Self-Adhesive 32mm x 25m

For sealing backing board to frames and adding a moisture resistant barrier

Lineco pressure sensitive frame sealing tape attaches firmly to almost any surface and confirms well to most surface irregularities.

The aluminum core layer provides a moisture resistant barrier. We recommend using this sealing tape with Correx polyprop for frames being hung in a bathroom or humid environemnt. 

An inert pressure-sensitive adhesive on the other side bonds permanently to wood, metal and board. Shapes over contours of uneven frame backs.

Manufactured with an aluminium barrier layer and non-yellowing permanent acrylic adhesive.

Acid free and lignin free, seals frame backs and fillets to inhibit acid migration.

Acrylic adhesive creates a strong durable bond on raw wood. Can only be removed with the aid of mineral spirits. Do not apply this tape directly to the artwork.

Working with self-adhesive materials in cold weather?

When the temperature drops remember to let self-adhesive tapes, PVA glues, boards and mounting films come up to room temperature before using them. Keep them that way for a few hours after application while the adhesives cure.
