The RabbetSpace Rebate Extender Strips should be mitre cut then fixed with the small screws

These wooden Support Bars are in four thicknesses to support the appropriate RabbetSpace strips while they are being mitre cut.

The cutting Support Bars are 3mm, 6mm, 9mm and 13mm thick, which are the same as the extra rebate height each of the RS profiles gives. A pack has one bar of each thickness. Bars are 267mm long and 12.7mm wide.

RabbetSpace Extender Strips are extruded from acid-free black acrylic with a satin finish. Each pack of strips comes with 150 of the special small screws.

The RabbetSpace strips can be mitre cut with a sharp knife, a small hand saw, a slip cutter or a Morso mitre guillotine. In all cases, using a piece of support bar to steady the RS profile helps make a better cut.

RabbetSpace profiles are fixed using special small black screws in pre-drilled holes. The two-stage drill bit combines two drills. One makes a 1.5mm hole in the RabbetSpace the size of the shank of the screw and the other makes a smaller hole of the right depth in the moulding. Use it with an electric screwdriver.

RabbetSpace profiles are supplied in 1.524m / 5' lengths. In packs of 7 lengths, 10.6m / 35' total.
