Picture Frame Moulding Preparation and Finishing

Products for preparing picture frame moulding before a coating is applied. Preparation products include frame putty for smoothing corner join gaps and masking minor imperfections. Liberon finishing oil has added UV filters help prevent discolouration from the sun, as well as being water, heat and alcohol resistant. Liberon Danish Oil is suitable for both interior and exterior use.

Liberon Finishing Oil gives a natural low-lustre finish to all woods. It penetrates the wood, to give a hard durable finish, without leaving a thick film. It can be overcoated with any oil based paint or varnish later, if desired.

Liberon Tung Oil protects and preserves interior and exterior wood. Pure Tung Oil dries to a long lasting, hard wearing, matt finish. It is a natural, non-toxic product that contains no added dryers. The Tung Oil penetrates deep into the wood which allows the wood to age gracefully and develop a natural patina. As well as being perfect for bare wood moulding, Liberon Tung Oil is ideal for use on food contact surfaces as it is non-toxic and resistant to water, heat and alcohol.

Liberon Wood Bleacher lightens dark wood and removes dark stains caused by rust, alcohol or damp. Liberon wood bleacher is also for removing dark marks from bare wood which have occured through alkali stripping, staining or weathering. It is suitable for use on most types of wood moulding.
